Framed Extruder Screen Packs combine multiple filtration media within a frame to offer the advantages of welded screen packs with additional benefits:

Prevents particles from entering around the edges of the breaker plate

Achieves finer filtrations and is suitable for breaking gels in polymer blends

Ensures stable flow distribution

These packs use various media materials such as non-woven felts, sintered metals, photo-etched wire cloth/mesh in copper, Monel, brass, carbon, and stainless steel. Non-woven felts and wire cloths can be pleated to enhance filtration area and pack longevity.

The frames are constructed: aluminum, anodized aluminum, copper, Ni plated copper, brass, or stainless steel.

Framed packs'shape: round, annular, rectangular, oval, and other shape.
